John has transformed my formal living room, which previously looked an undertaker's waiting room when you go to see the corpse of your loved one, into a field of spring flowers, joyous and uplifting. Sacrificing comfort is not even given a thought, because my old lounge suite belonging to my late mother and father, while being well made in WA jarrah, was still sound, but the uphostery was tired and saggy, is now trim, taut and terrific.
