I went somewhere else for filing 2023 taxes. I am a fully remote worker which Joe knew. This time I get a refund from City of Kansas City and though I have been fully remote since 2020 Joe did not do what was necessary for me to get a refund the previous years. My ex did not work in KCMO so that could not have been the reason. Hugely disappointed since I can't go back to amend with the City of KC. The only discussion around working remotely was that I could not claim deductions for having a home office.
