Hi! Although my review today is primarily for the Tax Assistance Service or TAS Office for the IRS-FTW I do wish to say that in all my years of dealing with the United States Federal Government this has to have been THE BEST experience that I have ever had! My wife, Florha, and I visited this office, by appointment, for the first-time yesterday afternoon, and from start to finish the mood, vibe, and the atmosphere was excellent, even for being in a vanilla as it gets Federal building, lol !! I am writing to share my appreciation for the excellent service I received today. Although I was initially hesitant to visit after reading some negative reviews online, I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and care provided by your staff. Every person I encountered—from the security team outside the building and in the lobby downstairs, to the receptionist in the IRS office and my tax advisor—were wonderful. Thank you all for your hard work and for providing such a positive experience.
The receptionist did not know what he was talking about. Went in to try to verify my identity for an ip pin and got turned away.
