I went to the Cheyenne office today because I was not able to get through any of the phone numbers or online links to resolve my issue. William was amazing! Helpful, empathetic to my situation and friendly.
Impossible to speak to someone from IRS. I tried, was rerouted and was told, by a prerecorded message, the wait time would be 30 to 60 minutes. Opted for call back, on hold again. When a rep finally got on the phone, I was told I had the wrong extension. Rerouted again and told to wait another 30 to 60 minutes Looks like DOGE missed the IRS!!! DISGUSTED!!!!
Absolutely impossible to ever get a real person to talk to on the phone. It would be a miracle if that ever happened.

After 3 plus years of trying on several attempts on my own to get a refund owed to me I gave up and went to this IRS office and they took pains to get me my refund. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable of every form that they needed me to file to finally recieve my refund. Highly recommend getting IRS help at this office. They care.
