People get upset about this office. It's always closed. Facts on the matter are, IRS jobs don't pay well and Bend is an expensive place to live. If you sell Subarus, which requires little effort and no formal training, you can earn $100.00 hour. Why would someone do a difficult job for $20.00? Few apply. My tax return was accepted months ago and I've only received the Federal return. I've called 3 different IRS phone numbers and was hung up on by every one because they were unable to pull up my information and wouldn't let me through to a real person. How come I can get adequate support in 5 seconds on DoorDash but I can't even talk to a real person to figure out why my taxes are straight up missing? The IRS seriously needs to update their shit.
