The only reason they're getting 3 stars is because the security guard there is so kind and professional. Was very uncomfortable when I visited recently to pick up some forms. Very much felt like I was being patronized, which I'm used to, but I'm about over it. I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you don't like your job, find another one or retire or whatever. Just had a appt there this morning and didnt have any issues getting in or being seen. I do wish they had more people there but am greatful for the help.
After speaking to someone on the phone, I was told to make an call another number and make an appointment with my local office to address my situation. My appointment was made in a timely manner. Less than 5 days. I arrived at my appointment with the requested documents and a very efficient and friendly representative took care of everything within 10 min. I was very satisfied with my in person experience.
Phone number is just the national line. I swear these IRS shills are so incompetent. 41 days since my return was accepted and it's 'still processing' add insult to injury these people are deliberately unreachable yet they have the audacity to be tweeting out threats of fees for late taxes - like, uh, nah G, ya see if you charging us late fees you need to be PAYING us late fees you hear me?!
