Amazing
Worst office ever and the people who work here could care less. Typical government employee. This is called a Taxpayer Assistance Center. They closed for an entire day when I had an appointment scheduled. They did not notify me of the cancellation. I was rescheduled for today and told to be here by 6:45 am. Lights and tv on. No answer at the door. The sign says opens at 7:00am. No posting that they did not have a guard on duty. The appointment phone line has no way to contact this office. This small office is not where the public can get thorough information. I made an appointment, waited for it , arrived, then told I would be receiving my tax return by Sept. 13th, 2024. NOT SO! It is now 10/ 15/24. My 2023 taxes were accepted electronically on 4/15/24. The appointment number does not answer. The local office is only open from 2:30 - 4:30 Mon.=Fri. these days. I do feel I am qualified to receive interest on my Federal refund amount. this is totally unacceptable. You work for us, not us working for you!!! Barb... read more
