(April 2026) We just came from an appointment at the IRS office in San Marcos, CA. We found all the employees to be very helpful, friendly, and professional. Our issue was resolved quickly. Helpful tips: Please make an appointment in advance; have your paperwork ready and in order.
So happy they provide the service of a walk in office! I’m here for the 3rd time in 10 years handling this or that (twice getting early approval of a tax return). So convenient, glad they provide this extra service! Friendly and fast.
That was pointless. I basically gave them all my information (SS#, full name, DOB and my address) only to wait for 50 minutes before they hung up. Now what? A scam? Thanks for nothing.
On hold for over an hour because the website doesn’t have the option to set up a payment plan for a separate year. 😖
