I'll be honest with you, I've never had any push back from the IRS in my perspective. The staff is very helpful and they are efficient as well as fast! Make an appointment ahead of time please and bring documents required for the task at hand that's unique to you in YOUR situation. I owe back taxes and I am still grateful that the IRS still helps me feel taken care of. They are prepared to help you so you should take accountability on your end to be prepared as well. I filed my tax return over a month ago and my tax return hasn’t been processed yet. I’m not sure the delay. I’m confused why we have a date we’re required to pay by, but not the IRS. Update. Contacted my local congressman office sometime in the beginning of JUN and the IRS only needed 3 paystub. I’m unsure why the IRS couldn’t contact me for that information. Very disappointed with the terrible service this office provided. Or should I say not provided. The agent if I remember correctly was Mrs White. She was so rude. Kept making facial expressions like she was annoyed with my questions and like she hates her job. I was not able to accomplish what I went in for. I believe her negative attitude and rudeness had a lot to do with it. She could not even provide me with an IRS street address where I could send them a payoff via Federal Express.
