The Security Guard in the IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center in Syracuse is a wonderful man. He is friendly and communicative and respectful. I wish I knew his name so I could be more specific but he has been there for a long time. The IRS Agent, Julie, is amazing! She treats you with warmth and respect and does not give up even if your case is a tough one. She has been there for many years and is consistently dedicated to helping you any way she can.
Whomever called me back bc the wait was over an hour on the phone was so rude and disrespectful for no reason whatsoever I contacted them to see what is going on with my refund and this person said "what is my problem" I said I did my 2024.return then got a letter saying I needed to File my 2021 return so I did and they told me I had to wait 6 weeks so I did and called again because I still did not receive my refund and I was told I have to now file my 2022 tax return which why was I not informed of this back in March when I... read more
The security guards AND the women in this office were amazing. I’ve gone twice, at no fault of theirs, and they were SO kind and helpful. Extremely personable. Never thought I’d be leaving a 5 star review for the IRS, but here I am. (I see a lot of 1 star reviews regarding the phone, the people in this office have no correlation to the phone.)
Terrible in every way! IVR Phone system does not work. Shame on you Donald Trump and DOGE. Just plain terrible!
