Warning! We had a horrible experience with interior upholstery! We took him an antique piece of furniture and ottoman, and he completely butchered it. He broke the wood frame on the Ottoman and lied about it, and said we brought it to him like that! He refused to give us any money back, the fabric grain didn’t match, the zipper on the seat cushion was on the side when it should’ve been hidden in the back of the cushion, and dried up hot glue was stuck all over the fabric. He is the absolute worst!!

Interior Upholstery made a terrific custom upholstered daybed cushion for me in 2018. I naturally returned to this business in 2022 for a similar one. I showed the owner what he made before, and put down a deposit for half the estimated project cost. Unfortunately, he forgot to include the foam expense in the estimate, which combined with generally higher prices made the project unviable for us. Our double cushion reclining sofa with vinyl peeling was to be reupholstered w genuine leather. At first the project was exciting but quickly diminished. The owner/operator underestimated the amount of hides needed on a leather special order. Could not order like material to finish. The o/o missed multiple written deadlines that he set for completion. O/o refused to let me see progress. SEVEN months later I demanded to see sofa. Caught o/o in another lie that he ordered new leather. He did not. He became hostile and canceled... read more
