We have used Intense Movers twice and both experiences were great. The first time was four years ago, and the second was earlier this month. Though we were naturally stressed about unexpectedly having to move for classic New York reasons, at least it was a simple decision what moving company to hire. Did my move yesterday. When my 3-person couch did not fit into the building service elevator, the lead mover Scott asked me to figure everything out on my own, including speaking with the superintendant myself for permission to access the regular passenger elevator which was larger but did not work. They did not even offer to carry the couch up the stairs (I would have paid extra), or measure the dimensions of the stairs; they basically took the super's word that it wouldn't fit. I've used Intense movers twice now and am scheduling a third move with them. They are by far the best moving company, and remain affordable in comparison to others. I've recommended them to friends and family who have also reported great experiences. Intense mover’s came highly recommended by two friends. When I sent my inventory, they quoted me the most reasonable price, and followed up with the most detailed and thoughtful questions of any company I contacted.
