Jon is a caring and thoughtful practitioner, with a gentle bedside manner and a comprehensive understanding of Chinese medicine. I always leave our sessions in a stare of deep relaxation and calm.
I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time but, with a new baby time got away from me. I went through fertility testing and they recommended IUI then IVF. But I wanted to try something else before going that route. I had never tried acupuncture before in my life. I spent 2.5 months with Dr. Kao after trying to conceive for over a year and was able to conceive on our first full cycle with herbs and acupuncture. Overwhelmingly positive experience with both Heidi and Jon as my acupuncturists. Their experience in the field shows through with their trauma informed lens, knowledge of best practices, and patient centered approach.
Heidi is absolutely amazing — She supported my sister through an incredibly challenging medical crisis with both acupuncture skill and the power of her character as a practitioner!
