Jon first listened and was very thoughtful about his approach to an athletic injury. It was very helpful even after just the first treatment.
Jon is exceptionally thorough in his opening analysis and often rechecks pulses at different stages of the treatment. Moxa can be a part of the treatment protocol along with herbal formula recommendations. I see Jon every week and have seen significant changes in my health over a period of months. The formula recommendations have changed accordingly. I'm an older patient in my late 70s. So I find Jon's weekly treatments of exceptional benefit.
I had never experienced acupuncture before and didn’t know what it was all about but the staff and Acupuncturists are so down to earth and experienced that I was put at ease right away. The receptionist is also welcoming, cheerful, and considerate. I saw Jon Diskin regularly for pain and swelling in my ankle. He really does have a gentle manner and is so knowledgeable about ways to get blood circulating so that swelling becomes much less. Also some of the excruciating pain has lessened measurably. Jon is a caring and thoughtful practitioner, with a gentle bedside manner and a comprehensive understanding of Chinese medicine. I always leave our sessions in a stare of deep relaxation and calm.
I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time but, with a new baby time got away from me. I went through fertility testing and they recommended IUI then IVF. But I wanted to try something else before going that route. I had never tried acupuncture before in my life. I spent 2.5 months with Dr. Kao after trying to conceive for over a year and was able to conceive on our first full cycle with herbs and acupuncture.
