My mom was in a wonderful independent living residence, with great staff and amenities. Until it was bought by Inspirit. Rents immediately increased. Staffing was reduced causing delays and lapses in dining room and maintenance. Inspirit has now announced they let go the in-house physical therapy provider that the residents have loved and depended on for years. So the bed beg issue has died down and now my family member has roaches so bad that once a week the sticky strips are full and I have to put new one's out. She is in a wheelchair and has to kill roaches all day. Not to mention the terrible food they serve. When I come to visit everyone tells me how they can barely eat it.If anyone has a family member here and isn't concerned, YOU SHOULD BE!!!!!This facility is in Jonesboro Arkansas. As a new employee, I'm so glad I was hired. This community feels like home, all the coworkers are great to work with and the resident's are a blessing to share our day to day living with. The grounds are beautiful with walking trails and a pond for the residents to fish from.
