Usually my experience at insomnia cookies is good but recently this employee that rang me up was very friendly but then talking a little too much and telling me lots of personal details about him being under the influence of marijuana and you can visibly see his eyes red. He said his name was mubeen and he was a fairly tall guy with lots of hair. I really love insomnia cookies and have been to many different locations in the boston area. At first glance I just wanted some chocolate chip cookies while I was in the harvard area, and once I realized the one worker that was going to serve me wasn't wearing PPE, I was a little skeptical. Nonetheless, I'm still a big back and wanted to get them anyway but the cashier genuinely took so long to get my cookies and I started to wonder if he was on something because his eyes were quite glassy. Cookies normally are amazing, but recently I went and the cashier I think his name was mubeen was helping me, he forgot he rang me up and went to the back and I had to wait longer and he rang me up again. After when he gave me the cookies he gave them to me with his bare hands and said “my fault Im geeked right now”. Honestly I felt uncomfortable but that was just one employee, everyone else is lovely and are sweethearts.
