If I could leave no stars I would. Employed Brian Horak to handle the purchase of my home and he was the most unprofessional lawyer I have had the misfortune to hire. Moved offices and didn’t change his letterhead so my papers being purolated from Ontario that had to be filed the next day went to the wrong address. I engaged this firm on a probate matter. The firm took on the file. After months of not receiving any confirmation about the probate, I sent several emails (one approximately every two weeks) and tried calling, and couldn’t get a response or an update. After waiting more than five months, I requests the documents back. That’s when the firm confirmed they hadn’t done anything with the files.
