Innovative Carriers as a whole is nothing short of fantastic. I have had many problems in the past dealing with others carriers, since switching to Innovative Carrieres exclusively, I’ve had nothing but peace of mind. As i sit here and wait for a shipment to be delivered that was supposed to be there last week (over 5 days ago) i get an email asking me for more money (on top of the $1750 I’ve already paid to ship a small amount of 4 pallets) or it won’t be delivered today… it seems like this company will purposely delay the delivery at least a week in order to try and make you pay more to have it delivered. I worked with Isreal at innovative carrier. He is the most incompetent agent and had no knowledge of how clearance and duties work and I had to overpay $400 due to his incompetence. First he quoted me incorrect duties (4% vs 16%), he had no idea about the status of my shipment, quoted incorrect delivery timeline and didn’t pay the fees for clearance. The driver had to wait 5 additional hours while he had to clear shipment and charged me $65 per wait hour! I will avoid this company at all costs.
