Even one star is too generous. We are trying to contact you regarding a 69 year-old pensioners income tax discrepancy from 2022 that he only just found out about. Yet you can't answer the phone to discuss how an elderly man who gets bugger all from the pension is supposed to pay for what has now snowballed (unbeknownst to him, by the way) into $2200, all the while you threaten him with +$550 late payment fees. I have tried calling the past 2x days and the IRD keep saying they can’t take my call right now? How useless and sad is it that they aren’t funded/supported enough staff wise to be able to even answer the phone How are you supposed to get a hold of someone?
