Adele Marshall saw a store manager at the Kingsport Tennessee store ask a care giver of an individual with disabilities to remove him from the store because another customer said she would not shop as long as he was there. Ingles stores has an equality, diversity, and inclusion statement that says "we need to value people with different backgrounds, different races, and different abilities." RecommendedI shop here several times a week and the store is very clean and has a very pleasing appearance. They carry specialty items that you can't find anywhere else. They have an excellent meat department, deli and bakery. I also save quite a bit of money on gas with their fuel points. I have been using the fuel points at the Boones Creek location on my way to work in J.C., but soon will be able to use them at the Colonial Heights location. Other than occasional trip to Walmart, this is the only grocery store I shop at. Love Ingles... read more

Found out of date ice cream that could make people sick. Finally found the the ice cream that i was looking for no thanks to the absent minded cashier. Only to find out it was thawed and refrozen. May return the product, or just dodge going to this place all together. Thanks for ruining my night.
I shop here at least twice a week. Their customer service is top of the line. Every employee speaks to you, from the stocker to the manager. I ordered a cake just by texting a picture and it was perfect! Thankful to have this store in my community! You guys rock!
I was struggling this Christmas and was fortunate enough to receive a fifty dollar gift card to here and I haven't visited the store in years since they remodeled, all I can say is that it's amazing! Neatest cleanest amazing grocery store around this area! It's some what out of my way but I'll make sure I go back! Prices are good as well! Thank you so much!
