Grocery shopping i give 4 stars. However the bakery is a different story. I went in to have a cake made spoke to someone new there I think Tammy was her name. I want a simple cake made for my child’s b day. All I wanted was a cake with local school mascot. She told me no problem I left. She then proceeded to tell me after I called to add another cake ti the order that she wasn’t sure if she could do it then had different excuse saying she’s not allowed to do a mascot when Ingles’s has done it before in the past. So I went into the Ingles in Rockmart on March 11th in the morning and got me a breakfast eggs, grits bacon and a biscuit and it was $2.99. I went back in there today on March 12th and got the same exact breakfast. Same exact thing and it was $5.19 just don't know why that is. Somebody needs to try to explain that to me.

I would prefer 3.5 stars but that's not an option. For a small store, they offer a good variety. They have a hot deli, sub sandwiches, small salad bar, bakery (with great donuts), a cold deli and a pre-made meal section with specialty cheeses and spreads. Unfortunately I have been there a few times when their salad bar items weren't as fresh as expected. The staff has always been friendly and helpful

Good market. Pricing is a little higher than average. I base that on 'old school'; how many sacks do I get for my $20.
