My neighbor is currently an employee at Ingles and stated to me that he/she (I don't want to identify the gender of my neighbor) was suspended for wearing a face mask by the male manager named Shannon. During this time where the CDC advises everyone to wear face masks when shopping... WHY would Ingles Management punish & prevent their employees from wearing a mask? EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!
Ingles in Lenoir City is selling old moldy bread, produce you can stick your fingers into. You can’t really tell inside the bag, but last night baby cucumbers, purchased 3 days ago were slimy, soft, and had to be tossed. Hamburger buns bought the same day were molded. Not just a couple, but all 12 buns had mold. Being that they are also the most expensive grocery store in East Tn, I would recommend going anywhere else during this covid stay at home time. So...what’s up with the manager at Ingles in Clarkesville, Georgia ?? Question was posed as to why their staff were not wearing mask when stocking and checking out customers...which both encountered less than 6’ away.....his response was aggressive/derogatory with a response of, “you need to call Ingles Corporate”....and hung up the phone. RecommendedThe staff and employees are very friendly and helpful. The store is always clean. I highly recommend shopping at Ingles on Emory Rd. in Powell, TN.
In the middle of a Covid 19 pandemic this store provide NOTHING to clean cleans at the exit. Sanitary wipes upon entry, which is common practice everyday, but nothing for customers safety upon leaving their store. After handling their merchandise, checking out with a bank card and utilising the very unsanitary public key pad, this store has chosen to ignore all best practices for the public’s safety. they are price gagging raise their prices out the door their deli is slow and it sucks managers aren't worth a crap I went to priceless stores and saved a bundle
