Would give 0 stars if possible. There is absolutely no communication despite multiple emails and calls from my end. Please save yourself the time, stress, and money and find anyone else for accounting help
Rick has been doing my taxes since I can remember. Over that time, he has been prompt and professional. It is true that 2022 presented a significant challenge to many clients, myself included. Instead of vilifying him in a review, I was able to connect with him and learn that processes have been refined and the user interface has been upgraded. I have just completed my part of the process (much easier now) and look forward to the same quality of service that I experienced for the years prior to 2022.
No Stars would be a better option in my experience. This is the first year for having taxes done here and I mirror the review of others in a complete lack of communication and information provided on what was going on. I was told once there was a server issue, does this mean my data was jeopardized? I did not receive call backs as I was told and resorted to stopping in the office to force a reply but Rick was never there to talk to. I finally had then give me back my information and had to go elsewhere.
This review is tough to make because body of work matters and needs to be taken into account with all relationships. Before the 2022 tax season the rating might be as high as four stars. Taking into consideration a several year long working relationship the one star is is what is merited based on the negligence and incompetence demonstrated. Communication was very poor.
