Doesn’t even offer the flu vaccine at reduced cost for uninsured students. And of course the college does not offer any health insurance plan for its students. I should have expected that.
So much to say here. I had an earring get stuck inside my earlobe and was in extreme pain. I got an appointment quickly, but the first doctor who saw me clearly had no idea what she was doing. She pushed on my ear for several minutes, causing a lot of bleeding and even more pain, before telling me she was actually a gynecologist and not specialized in this. I called the pharmacy for help getting my prescription transferred to my home pharmacy. The pharmacist who answered the phone hastily said they're not responsible to do that. I tried to explain further that my home pharmacy had issues getting in contact with them. Before I could even say anything she interrupted me, said have a good day passive aggressively and hung up the phone. As an international student, I experienced microaggression here for the first time in this country yesterday, thanks to the lady in the blue top responsible for check-ins. I was looking for a staff member at another closed window, and before I even had a chance to greet her, she sarcastically pointed out that the indicator light above her station was on, meaning her window was open.
