I had a truck loan through them. I went to refinance through another institution. I got my 10 day pay off amount “good until November 8th” my new bank calls me on the 7th and says when they contacted independent bank the pay off amount was different and to continue I would have to either pay the difference or start the process over. When I called independent bank they hung up on 3 times and couldn’t give me an answer as to why. Said, “if there is money left over they would send it”. At 5050 Poplar Avenue in the Main Office Branch, Heather Wood, the manager, is THE BEST manager EVER!!!! She is rockin' that branch! The tellers have been very helpful and nice.
The quality of customer service at the Ridgeway Branch with the tellers and desk side is outstanding. They are all warm, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I love going to my branch. Thanks Independent Bank!
