I am warning everyone to stay far away from this firm. My fiancé paid over $800 for professional tax preparation, yet when the IRS issued a time-sensitive CP2000 notice due to their filing, this office completely failed us. While Bruce Chan originally handled the file, it was handed off to Joann (who is not a licensed CPA) without a proper transition. This led to staggering negligence and hostility. Just wanted to give a big thanks to Bruce and his crew at Income Tax Savers. I previously used a tax firm on long island and the moved to North Carolina. For 5 years I searched and tried a few accountants local to NC. Each one files extensions. So I went back to Long Island and was recommended to Income Tax Savers. I paid over $800 for tax assistance and was met with nothing but incompetence. After previously meeting with Bruce Chan in person to handle my 2024 taxes, I expected the same professional oversight this season. Instead, for my 2025 taxes, Bruce was essentially unreachable. After one initial conversation, my paperwork was pawned off to his associate, Joann, who is not a CPA and was incredibly hostile.
