It was a great experience, a mental health gym, what more could you ask for. And I love supporting black owned businesses.
Are the owners licensed professionals to conduct neurofeedback therapy? The facility isn’t all that great (definitely not worth the price). Some “workouts” when I went there, were poorly set up and executed. The infrared sauna didn’t get very hot (I was cold in there) the float therapy wasn’t working, and there was another “workout” that looked like a makeshift tanning bed. BEWARE!! Two weeks after having brain training/neurofeedback therapy at Inception, I experienced for the first time in my life psychosis (I’m leaving this review anonymously to protect my private health information). Because of the psychosis, I’m now on antipsych medication just to function. I don’t think the co-owner (the mother) set up the brain training properly. I also don’t think the owners are licensed professionals to conduct neurofeedback therapy. At the least, I want a refund as I believe this facility ruined my men... read more
