I had an issue with escaping air from my massage chair. A minor issue, but I wanted it fixed all the same. Inada sent a technician out to investigate. After the technician's visit, the chair started making a disturbingly loud clunking noise. He came back to try to fix it and claimed it would cost me $1100 to fix. I think it's outrageous to charge me $299 (and to pocket the $1 and not give me any change) to break my chair!
From all the massage chair shops I had visited, we decided to purchase the massage chairs from Inada because of the information and fantastic customer service provided by Julie. Thanks Julie :)
I live in QLD and have owned an Inada Duet since they came on the market. It must be nearly 10 years old. I bought it from a very helpful man when on holiday in Melbourne (no shop in Qld at that time). There is not a week goes by that we are not in the chair and often both daily. It only had a 1 year warranty at the time I purchased (now I believe 3 years), when I had an issues a few years back ie Long out of warranty and phoned Sydney; no problem at all with having it serviced on the Sunshine Coast for a very reasonable fee... read more
3 weeks ago we flew from Adelaide and went to the Melbourne store to try the massage chair and received excellent service from Jeff; with his help we found a product suitable for us (Duet). Since last week we have received it. This chair is very comfortable and completely relieved our neck/shoulder pain. Our family loves it. Thanks to Jeff’s service again. He was very friendly and helpful!
Great after sales service when we had problems (caused by us) with the chair. Had it fixed promptly.
