I went to the mayoral election watch party here. They hosted this special event which brought together a lot of interesting, progressives that were able to discuss the different candidates and aldermanic races. Typically it's not that simple to find a place where there possible and handled in a good way, but they really nailed it. There were free books out for visitors, you could see current projects being worked on, and they provided food.
