I've worked with several photographers doing school portraits through the years as a classroom teacher and a mom of 3 and I have to say this years' pictures are by far the worst of my kids I've ever seen. My son is a senior, parents weren't encouraged to be there as they were taken during the school day at the school. My son's hair is all jacked up and the ADULT photographer who takes 100s of pictures a day didn't provide a mirror, or a comment or anything to make sure he was ready to go. Impressionist is the photographer that our school uses and I have been impressed with the quality and service. Not only do we get school photos but we get awesome sport photos with modern backdrops filtered in. We just got our sports package and the photos were great!
School pictures can't be easy. Taking pictures of hundreds of kids in a short period of time and everyone expects perfection all the time. Somehow this company does an amazing job! If there are ever any problems, they fix quickly and with a smile. Great service, great company, great pictures! Thanks for the years of precious memories!
My kids eyes were closed. And when I wrote them all they said was sorry, there will be a make up. Extremely inconsiderate to all the things parents have to do to make sure their kids look nice on picture day. Shame on this business and shame on the school for choosing them.
You would think that, as a photographer, you would notice when the subjects' eyes are closed, or their mouth is gaping open. Apparently, these guys do not. This is the second year in a row, that both my child's original and re-takes were comically bad. They give you the option of four "poses" which is really just them changing out, also comically bad, backgrounds.
