Unfortunately, the food and service were very disappointing. You can’t order at the main bar; instead, we had to order at the side near the kitchen and were given a buzzer. It appeared to be a one-person operation, with the same staff member taking orders and preparing the food. We had to repeat our order several times as there seemed to be difficulty understanding it. Good local, old school pub in Paddington. $38 for a schooner and chicken burger is a bit steep, but it is Paddington. Friendly service!

My favourite pub in Paddington at the moment because they brew their own beer! And food is good - the chicken schnizel just as good as the recently closed Unicorn! A bit big and airy - not much heating! Still my favourite pub! The Pilsner 5.4% is probably the best beer but they should brew a double IPA. Great chips!
