Handy commissary. Don't have to go to North Island or Naval Base San Diego
This is a great local commissary if you are not wanting to drive to 32nd st. The commissary is usually not packed. The food selection, in normal circumstances, is pretty well stocked. It is perfect for small grocery trips or an "oh I forgot" moments. This location is slightly bigger than nasni. The way they take care of their produce and cold section is better than both nasni and 32nd. Milk doesn't expire as quickly from there and mold doesn't grow on cheese as quickly from there. The reason for my low rating, is the bathroom. The women's bathrooms, One has been close for a long time. The other one had one stall close, also for a long time. When will they get repaired?
A great place to shop for groceries.
