I sent in my MacBook three months ago and paid $180, expecting to hear back from them within a week, but they never called back. When I visited the store a few weeks later, they had a sign saying that they’re temporarily closed and that they have a new phone number I could call. Edited 12/2025 Finally got in contact with the company and got a refund. Sound like West Lafayette store is closed permanently. Scammed me 300$. I typically don't leave one-star reviews, but this is the only way left to contact the company. I took my laptop in for diagnostic and paid for the labor and for them to order the parts to replace on my laptop. The bill I paid was close to 300$.They were supposed to call me when parts came in (1 week later). That was over 1 month ago. I have tried calling the store with no answer an... read more

FYI: This review is originally for the main store in Lafayette of South Street, but I believe it applies here as the West Lafayette store was going to send my device to the South Street store for this repair as any high level repairs go to that store. So this is a review regarding any repairs above basic repairs that would go to the South Street shot. And may give a glimpse into iMechanic as a comapny. my friend lucy told me john was the best…actually the service was great besides the fact. they fixed my ipod 3 to be working like new and my original mac book. i was really impressed. i also was able to get my computer screen replaced. 110/10
