My husband and I went to the war museumn and we were heading back to our truck I looked over across the way and 2 gentlemen were watching us out the window so we waved at them and they waved back then I saluted them I hope this made their day somewhat special because it brightened mine it's the little things in life 🥰

It's a really nice place to visit. An learn about some of America's history and the local Veterans that served our country..

The environment these veterans at Shappers are having to live, is not how they should end their life.. Us vet wives would really appreciate an update on moving to the new building and what the hold up is ? Thank you.

I notice most all reviews are at least a year or more ago. I would like to see more recent reviews..My husband has been a resident for 8 months. I have been told the service and facilities have really gone down. I don’t have anything to compare to. If that is the case what can be done about it.

I worked in dietary and it was hands down the worst job I’ve ever had in my entire life. Management is completely dysfunctional and has made it very clear that they don’t care about their employees. It was heartbreaking for me to experience so much negativity because it really effects the veterans more then anyone. There’s so much corruption in this place and it starts from the top and goes down. Working here was the worst decision I’ve ever made and I urge everyone to stay far away from this God forsaken place.
