I'm reviewing the packet CU1 sent with the new fee structure, and this has to be one of the worst banks in town now to hold a simple savings / checking account. The "Savings Only Fee" and "Inactive Account Service Fee" are particularly diabolical. I've had good service with the local Fifth Third brach if anyone is looking for simple savings / checking with minimal fees.
I have been with the Credit Union since 2010. Ive been with them through their remodel and this new merger or change to Credit Union 1. I’ve seen a lot of 1-star reviews lately, but honestly, people are being way too quick to complain. Yes, the system changed, but the staff have been great about helping everyone adjust. When I needed help with the new app, they sat with me, explained everything clearly, and we had it working in about five minutes right there in the branch.
