"Therefore, as a general policy, this commission will not act on such allegations unless and until lthere has been a court finding that a layer was ineffective. " in my response letter. As it reads in there first paragraph of the file a complaint it states "allegations" which means it does not have to have a prior verdict in a court. No where does it state that they have to be found guilty prior to contacting ARDC. This is in direct violation of rule 751 and rule 780 of the illinois Supreme Court.

This organization is a joke. Even if you have a valid complaint with evidence, they don’t even seem to investigate or care. Attorneys in this state can get away with misconduct easily and there doesn’t seem to be any recourse for the people who were harmed by their behavior.

The ARDC is where legitimate complaints about attorney misconduct go to die a quiet, bureaucratic death. Months have went by and nothing has been done. A wasteful spending Illinois organization that should be canceled. I put in my complaint in January and they have done nothing.
