I'm new to Illiana credit union but not to Franciscan Alliance they merged with illiana and since then it has been a horrible experience! I applied for 2 loans at different times both times they denied me. I am a black women with a credit score of 580-600 and asked for a loan to pay off my credit card bills my friend who is white and credit score is about the same as mine asked for a loan about a month ago. Horrible customer service. When you call no one answers and the ATM in Chicago Heights is always down.
Ever since Illiana Financial has positioned new employees my banking experience with this institution has plummeted. There have been several occasions when I have gone to the Calumet City location to encounter the unseasoned experience of employees who reciprocate customer service with negative and very unprofessional attitudes. One of the tellers at the Calumet City location smirks at me whenever I get a transaction done. I have asked her what was so funny.
