The ICU, Has gotten me out of a few difficult situations, i.e., Fraud attempts on my visa card, and saved me from losing my money.
You can always get an Illawarra Credit Union staff member on the phone if you have a problem and they will fix it - in contrast to most other banks. I’ve been with them for years and it’s always been a good experience.
I've been with this credit union and its predecessors for decades. Was always happy until today. My son dropped my Visa card and another card in a busy place today. I lost the card and we spent an hour retracing our steps and tried the local police station. Later I got a call from the credit union to say that someone had called and had found both cards, they said they cannot pass on my contact details to the person even with my authorisation and that they have cancelled and can issue a new one for a $7 charge.
