IKEA changed the pickup location for Nashville and it’s a lot more inconvenient. It’s further out from the city and you end up driving up to a trucking dock. The people working there are still nice and helpful but there were no real directions provided by IKEA. When you drive up to the building you will keep going straight to the back and right next to dock 57 you will find a ramp that you can back into. Should have opened a large format store in Nashville instead of memphis. Part of the whole ikea experience is seeing how the furniture looks in your showroom. Too bad the memphis store is closing, it was easy in and out right off freeway
I arrived an hour after you open. And yet no one is here. The gentleman that did help me, maybe needs to run this business. Will not be using this service again.
Be warned: IKEA's Nashville pick-up point has moved and is now buried in a sea of giant logistics warehouses a couple of miles off I-24 in Antioch. The old location on Spence Lane was very convenient; this new one is about as far off the beaten path as you can get. Be prepared to get stuck in traffic behind a bunch of tractor trailers. In addition, be prepared to hoist your order from a service bay that's a good 4-feet high (it was obviously built to move products directly into the back of 18-wheelers).
