My favorite place to eat and have fun!!
Purchased from IKEA for the first time. The order was to be shipped to a pickup location. Supposedly we have 5 days to pick it up, except they start counting from the day it SHIPS!!!!. Then they tell it’s ready only to find out that half the shipment is still in transit. It’s 22 miles round trip to the pickup location. So now we have to go BACK a second time. RIDICULOUS. My first experience with IKEA is not good at all.
IKEA in West Sacramento, CA, is similar to all the others. It’s a huge store with lots of square footage with lots of room displays selling about everything you would need to furnish a home. Pricing is way cheaper than most other home and furniture stores. The quality and sustainability is there. I could spend the whole day there. But on the weekends, it’s crazy busy and crowded. Went to the location. Spent probably 3 hours shopping as I had multiple purchases. Not only for myself but two other members of my family and you know how large Ikea is so when I got to the checkout I was one. I was surprised to find that there were no human checkouts but that it was all self-checkout which wasn't too bad, but considering the line started to get long and you only had two employees on the sales floor that day and the lady that was monitoring the self-checkout that I happen to be in was very stressed out.
