I hired Joan Mell to represent me in two civil matters. After signing a fee agreement, she abruptly abandoned my cases without notice, despite active court deadlines and without filing a motion to withdraw, as required by law. Instructs you to send full, in-depth, detailed description of your case, including all photographs and video. 'The more detailed, the better.' Then, never responds again. I question why they needed all of that detailed information about dealings with the state, before assuming attorney-client privilege, if there was no intention to return contact.
