Terrible customer service. Rude online people to talk to. Will take your order without even knowing they have the item in stock, even though their system will let you buy it. Could not care what you want. Will spend more money to have same products shipped from farther away. Never again
Placed an order for my moms birthday/christmas. Theyr website stated that the order would arrive before the hollidays and that shipping is overnight because of perishable items. The next day i recieve a delayed message on my order but it had been shipped, this is concerning cause of the perishable items not the time. I call Igourmet and customer service tell me that it is delayed but it will be delivered the next day and packed with extra ice so theres no issue; lie #1. I placed a fairly large order and received confirmation that it was accepted. During the week the delivery was supposed to be made, several emails were sent requesting confirmation of a test charge on my credit card. Unfortunately, these emails were not sent from the company’s main address but instead from an individual employee’s name, which I did not recognize. I have orders from gourmet in the past and had no issues. This year, I placed an order for a gift on 12/6. Was notified that it would be delivered on 12/20, pretty slow for a $30 delivery fee on a $129 item. Then notified it would be delivered on 12/ 24. Got another notification it would be 12/25. Was finally delivered on 12/26. Will not be ordering from this company again.
This shop has the largest selection of cheeses, however, at most times 33% - 25% are out of stock or no longer sold, but this is not disclosed. Further, they are the highest priced cheeses, and a ridiculous charge for shipping. The cheeses, when available, are good if you don't mind paying and arm and a leg for both the item and shipping. Customer service is also wanting.
