Disappointing and consistent experiences with perishable goods at this IGA. I’ll frequently find items past their expiry date, and even in-date products are often off, suggesting significant storage issues – a recent yoghurt was curdled and gassy immediately upon opening. While they do offer a good selection of international non-perishable items, the persistent problems with fresh food due to apparent poor stock management make it difficult to shop here for everyday groceries and overshadows any desire to support local. This is a small grocery store where I find excellent marked down items. There is price matching with major supermarkets on quite a few items. I try to shop here as much as I can to encourage an independent supermarket. The big two supermarket chains need competition. Doing an update. It's Good Friday today and I just bought some milk and chocolate. I had run out of milk and it was a relief to have a supermarket open on a major public holiday.
