I regularly visit IGA Tugun beach, Cute little store and I especially love visiting on a Sunday afternoon when (I think her name is) Kitty is working, she always greets each customer with a welcoming smile, a complement and a friendly conversation that always makes each customer she serves day! I even noticed that she worked on Christmas which is very commendable for a young girl. She truly brightens up the store! I think I know the smell that reviewer Clare is talking about. It’s coming from the air fresheners, the white boxes on the walls. They can be highly toxic, with those industrial ones containing formaldehyde and more carcinogens.
Gatorades at $2.1 half price are relatively cheap; however, it’s absolutely insane that all kinds of ice cream (except for the single packs) and many other items including non-perishables are also out of stock. I give it 4 stars because of the strong air conditioning after staying outside for a long time under sunshine and most of the produce and meat are still in stock.
Bought some chicken breast turns out it was already off. Tried calling to see if I can get a refund and no answer. Absolutely useless store.
