Staff at this store do not know the laws about bag checks! So I will post the law here which is found on the NSW Government website: *Store personnel are only allowed to look in your bag. They are NOT ALLOWED to touch the contents inside. Ridiculous bag check policy. Two weeks in a row now, just trying to quickly purchase some staples (bread/milk) with my baby and toddler after his sport class. After paying I have had to juggle the groceries, pull my baby bags out of the pram and open them up to the cashier for checking, re-pack my pram, all before the next customer can pay for their items. Love this IGA. Staff is always smiling and courteous. Prices are good.
Broken fridge door for months now -the glass is shattered with a sign on it “be careful”. Please get it fixed I’m tired of the food I buy being freezer burnt and lumps of ice in the products because the fridge is turned up so high -to accomodate the broken door and glass. Pretty sure a liability claim when it gives way on a customer will make you get it repaired.
