The place looks abandoned. Most of the shelves are empty, and many of the products appear to be well past their expiry date. I bought a packet of Tim Tams, only to realize when I got home that they had expired back in January. At this point, I don’t even think it’s worth going back to try to exchange them, as I’m not confident I’d find a fresh one. Definitely a disappointing experience.
It’s been absolutely appalling since the new management took over. They’re out of stock constantly and staff lack restocking information. This never happened with the previous owners.
They have a really good supply of fresh baked goods. The pies are very good. Very casual shopping. Next door as a post office.
This is my local IGA and has always been handy to pick up a few items but over the last few months it has gone downhill drastically. There is nothing in the fridges and the produce is terrible.
Great for shopping up to 9.30pm. Had really good looking fresh produce and good stocks of what you may run out of. Their meat section had a large range. Good prices as well for IGA
