I visited the IGA Seaforth recently and I overheard an uncomfortable experience with one of the staff members. This child had brought in a packet of Shapes that he already owned, and a worker came up to him and said, “Do you always bring in Shapes?” in an aggressive tone. They explained that he didn’t, but the staff member replied, “It’s confusing for us, okay,” in a way that felt unnecessarily rude and confrontational. I go here quite frequently and have never been accused of anything. The other day I walked in with my friends and we were simply browsing at some of the items. As I was about to choose an item to purchase I was approached by a man. He shouted at me, asking what was in my pocket. Surprised, I quickly show him I have my phone and other personal items. Why is this IGA on Menulog? Every time I place an order they cancel it. Every. Single. Time. I'm not even that far away. Don't put yourself on an app when you're just going to cancel on customers. Super annoying.
