Been going here for many years as it's very convenient and is always open when you need items when other stores aren't available. The boss gives local young people a job, which is great. They have a great range of stock and are pleasant every time I go there .
Products that are beyond the use by date, prices that are incorrect and outrageous ($15 for 12 eggs), and then they also overcharge you at the register because they don’t have the sales price registered. Do not recommend.
Ordered uber eats for two cooked chicken and then got extra stuff. They forget the chickens then hung up on me twice and then suggested I order a banana to get my chickens delivered or asked me to pick them up myself. If I could have picked them up I wouldn’t need delivery. Appalling appalling appalling. Everyone makes mistakes but it’s how you deal with it that important. They have NO customer service at all and should be banded from uber eats.
Highly recommend it . Only place that actually cared about local population during cyclone season or in fact open during all public holidays which is quite impressive . Worth every minute you spend there. I have also observed the owner/manager give his best while in store just to make customers experience wonderful. Thank you heaps IGA Mitchelton.
Disappointed Long-Term Local – A Wake-Up Call Needed After 6 years of being a regular customer, it’s disheartening to say that this store has completely lost its connection to the community. The customer service has become almost non-existent — staff seem disengaged, often staring at screens, barely acknowledging anyone walking in.
