Our high school recently used Ideal Charter for a multi-day trip to New York involving three buses. Unfortunately, the experience raised serious concerns regarding vehicle maintenance, communication, and overall trip management. On our bus, students were told not to use the restroom for bowel movements but were not informed that the restroom was effectively unusable. We as 4 LCMS churches from the Peoria IL used Ideal Charter to transport 101 youth and Adult Leaders to the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans and back, along with shuttling us to our locations in New Orleans. Went to convention in Washington D.C ( September 2024 ) the 1st driver was amazing, coming back with the 2nd driver to Ohio, was terrible! ( he didn’t want to give the WiFi code ), Plus the bus wasn’t clean(stuff on the floor) the mobile bathroom was horrible! Some of the outlets didn’t work! I wouldn’t rent this company at all!!!! I only gave 3 stars because the 1st driver to Ohio was very nice!
Under no circumstance should you consider using this company. They completely failed to fulfill their contract for my wedding and the consequences were severe. After surveying the driveway and being fully aware of what was required, they crashed the bus on the day of our wedding with the groom and several family members on board. This incident led to an unsafe situation, the postponement of the ceremony, caused guests to miss it altogether, and left vendors unable to access the venue to perform their duties.
