Ideal Bikes has an excellent, friendly, knowledgeable staff for all your biking / skateboarding needs! I needed to replace some parts on my bike drivetrain. David (their bike mechanic), tracked down the suitable replacement parts and also offered tips for their installation. They also could have installed them and tuned up my bike, but I only had the worn parts with me. Ideal Bikes is my "go to" for anything bike related. Well done gents!
Everything you're looking for in a bike shop: honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were very accommodating when I was on a tight timeline, repaired only what was necessary, and explained my options for future improvements without any pressure. All for a fair price. A trustworthy spot that is great for beginners like myself.
I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Ed and staff! We knew the brand of e-bike we wanted but also shopped around between Belleville and Kingston to be sure. Ed and staff are very knowledgeable, kind and patient. Amazing customer service. No doubt we will be happy for years to come as we cycle into retirement!!

Fantastic shop! Great customer service and they're honest! Brought in a bike that I recently purchased from them with a blown out tire... I thought I would have to pay for the tire but they explained it was a manufacturers defect and covered the charge for me. They're super knowledgeable.
