Now in my mid 70’s I find winter biking challenging, as I no longer bounce back as easily if I take a spill. Good tire traction is important if I am to avoid traction myself. Ed set me up with Kahva 45NRTH tires and they have been superb in snow, snowpack, ice and slush during a winter which seems determined to keep me at home. I feel secure to head out in any winter weather. Good job Ideal Bike.
Ideal Bikes has an excellent, friendly, knowledgeable staff for all your biking / skateboarding needs! I needed to replace some parts on my bike drivetrain. David (their bike mechanic), tracked down the suitable replacement parts and also offered tips for their installation. They also could have installed them and tuned up my bike, but I only had the worn parts with me. Ideal Bikes is my "go to" for anything bike related. Well done gents!
Everything you're looking for in a bike shop: honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were very accommodating when I was on a tight timeline, repaired only what was necessary, and explained my options for future improvements without any pressure. All for a fair price. A trustworthy spot that is great for beginners like myself.

These guys & gals have treated me like a lifetime loyal customer since the first day I called, & then later walked into the store to pick up a custom order. Longer story: I ordered a bike from the Trek store on Queen St W in Toronto while I still lived there in 2020. With pandemic supply chain delays, the bike didn’t arrive for quite a few months.
