Best sales and service in the Quinte area. Ed and David and all of the staff at Ideal Bike are great to deal with. They are knowledgeable and care about their customers and the products they sell. Just bought my second bike (first e-bike) from them and very happy to add it to my Trek collection. Knowing that it will be serviced when needed for three years under warranty also gives me peace of mind!
Very quick turn around, the shop didn't charge me for maintenance even if we were out of warranty by a couple months. I have been buying bicycles from this shop since 2010. Very satisfied with the service and all the employees are courteous. I will go again when it's time to upgrade my boys' bicycles.
I came to Ideal bike with an ancient frame that I knew almost nothing about. I had a vision to restore the bike for my sons birthday, but I did not have the expertise. David and his team (forgive me that I have forgotten some names) made me feel right at home. They were realistic with me and they were straight shooters. Absolutely one of the best LBS I have ever been to, helped me out greatly with warranty issues when the bike was purchased elsewhere. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, they worked on my madone sl6 and handled everything wonderfully and with care. Even if it's not your closest LBS I highly recommend them for any service you might need.
We bought 5 bikes from Ed several years ago to have at our busy Airbnb for guests to use. Ed took his time with us to pick out the right bikes for the job and we have been so pleased with them. Ideal Bike Co. also tunes up the bikes when needed and have offered us door to door service which is so amazing. Another bonus is that their service is very reasonably priced.
