Ideal is a great place to learn and make lifelong friends and connections. I've been attending school for about 3 weeks now and Kurt my CFI has been patient with me in teaching me everything I need to know to complete this step in my goal of making it to the Majors. Did my Private Pilot training at Ideal. The whole experience was top notch. All the planes are in good quality shape and serviced regularly. They have on-site mechanics so if any issues do arise they got them addressed and back in flight condition very quickly. All the instructors are extremely nice and willing to help in any way they can. The aircraft are always in top-notch condition with outstanding maintenance, and the instructors provide structured, professional training that pushes you to be your best. With top-tier Part 141 training and a strong commitment to safety, this school is the perfect place to pursue your aviation goals.
Excellent experience completing private, instrument, and commercial certificates at Ideal. Aircraft, maintenance, facilities, and instructors are head-and-shoulders above anything else in the region. Everything is modern and well-managed.
Ideal Aviation was great! They were a part of a special Aviation Event for 5-12th grade educators led by the Illinois Math & Science Academy held at the St. Louis Downtown Airport in Cahokia, IL. Ideal flight instructors took educators on flights and provided them with a first hand learning experience. Instructors were very professional and knowledgeable. Ideal Aviation leadership was willing to be flexible with plans to meet the needs of participants.
